These seeds have a rich history and have even reportedly been mixed with Banisteriopsis caapi powder when they are used as a snuff, but as well as to make another form of the world-famous brew known as Ayahuasca.

 

In most countries it is illegal to extract the active alkaloids from these seeds, and for that reason, if we even remotely suspect that these seeds will be used for illegal purposes, we will not sell them to anyone except those who want to add these beautiful plants to their gardens.  These are fully viable seeds, and make beautiful botanical specimens.

The leaves from this ancient plant were used for hundreds of years across the world until they were demonized by the Roman Catholic Church. Used in beer and witch's ointments, the leaves of this plant would invoke giddiness and visionary experiences. 

 

Black Henbane (Hyoscamus niger) belongs to the Solanacea and is one of the oldest psychoactive plants known: its ritual and shamanistic use probably dates back to Paeolithicum. In ancient Greece black henbane was used for clairvoyance and as a poison and during the Middle Ages it was one of the main ingredients of their visionary brews.  This pack of 100 seeds is enough for many beautiful flowers in your Shaman's Garden.

San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi) cactus is one of the most ancient and sacred plants of South America, dating back to pre-Columbian civilizations who occupied the high northern Andean mountain valleys.  This plant grows VERY fast, it's super-hardy, and it's often a favorite of growers because it produces 12 inches -18 inches of new growth per year. This seed pack will give you the potential for about 50 of these beauties!  To cultivate, simply place the seeds on top of a sandy soil, easily found at any local nursery or Home Depot.  Then, simply sprinkle a light layer of soil over the top of that to cover the seeds.  Give your cactus seeds only shaded or fluorescent light only for the first 6-12 months.  After that, there's no way to give these cacti too much sun!  Although deserts are known to be dry,  the humidity for germination should be around 70-80 % and can easily be accomplished by creating a small terrarium.

Celastrus paniculata is a treasured medicinal herb that is revered for its effects on the brain cells and has been used for centuries in Ayurveda for sharpening the memory and increasing intellect.  Typically it is used as a cognitive enhancer for those of all ages, but personal experimentation has shown that if it's taken about 1 hour before bedtime, it can also be a powerful aid in achieving lucid dreams, and at a minimum, a great tool to aid in dream recall.

 

In folk medicine, the seeds are boiled and taken for purification of body and mind through the cleansing of blood. The seeds constitute the drug; they are slightly bitter, and hence used almost always with a natural sweetener like Licorice root (which enhances its effects) or Stevia leaves.  To use whole seeds effectively, simply chew 10-12 of them at a time, or steep 1 tsp of seeds in 4 cups of boiling hot water for 3 hours. Then, sweeten to taste, and drink throughout the day to enhance mental capabilities and cognitive thinking brain patterns.
