There are a great number of recipes for Absinthe across the world, and many of them are closely-guarded secrets by Absinthe manufacturers. This particular recipe was happily shared by one of the last famous beat poets; Dale Pendell. He swore by this concoction, and said that it was one of the most powerful psychoactive drinks he had ever known. We found his ingredient list intriguing, especially due to the Calamus Root; one of our favorite Energizing Herbs here at the shop. Click the image or the link below to get the actual recipe used in this package of herbs.
Keep in mind; this is not a typical "Absinthe Kit"; this is a package of the ingredients for Dale's recipe, conveniently gathered and measured for you. Click here for more info...

Every once in a while, a product comes along that excites us to no end. This dried B. caapi leaf is one of those products. Not only is the viney part of this plant a staple ingredient in the sacred medicine known as Ayahuasca, but the leaves have proven to be extraordinarily useful in a wide range of applications by themselves. One of the most useful uses we've found is simply this: By adding these caapi leaves to any herbal smoking blend, the potency and pleasant effects of that blend are enhanced, whether it's Wild Dagga flowers, Lucid Herbal Smoking Blend, or any of your favorite herbs.
In short, this is one of the most effective potentiators that we have ever found. And, now that many retailers are catching onto a trend that we started years ago, we're pleased to report that our Banisteriopsis caapi leaves are from the Young Red Vine that originally came from Terence McKenna's farm in Hawaii. Before Terence passed in early 2000, he gifted this strain to the person who continutes to grow this unique strain today. It's every bit as potent and sacred as the original vine and continues to flourish in his memory today. This vine is easier to shred than mature vine, but contains the same active components that has made this vine so famous, and is about pencil-thick. Click here for more info...

Bay Bean (Canavalia maritima/rosea) is another curious entheogen which we were introduced to on one of our trips to Oaxaca, Mexico. There seem to be many stories around this plant, and it was considered important and sacred enough to be placed in graves in and around the area by the Mazatecs and other tribal groups. This alone indicates an importance for this plant in ritual that goes beyond decoration, since the dried leaves of Canavalia aren't pretty (but the smell is absolutely intoxicating).
The natives report that it has been used both as a potentiator for other herbs, as well as marijuana substitute (which is NOT what we offer this as in any capacity!), similar to the way Wild Dagga has been reportedly used in Africa. There are only scattered reports on the internet, so we can only rely on feedback from customers that might be posted below about what their experience with working with this plant might be be like. Calea Zacatechichi (Dream Herb/Leaf of God) is a plant used by the Chontal Indians of Mexico to obtain divinatory messages through dreaming. Clinical studies show that ingestion of the plant produces a light hypnotic state with a decrease of both deep slow-wave sleep and REM periods. Traditionally the plant was drank as a tea while a cigarette made from the Calea was smoked before bed, bringing relaxation and fluidity to mind and body, ushering in an easy and deep sleep during which the dreamer will find the gates to the dreamscape gently opened. Combretum quadrangulare is a small tree of the family Combretaceae which grows up to 10m high. The tree grows wildly or is planted in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. Combretum is planted along the banks of rivers or arroyos. It's also found throughout Thailand especially in open, wet places. It is mainly smoked or chewed by the people of south thailand since kratom is banned in Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. You rarely find it at the markets. It is mostly known locally. There is no supplier in the world offering Combretum, not even in origin countries, since farmers pick it for themselves. Click here for more info...

Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis) - this morning glory-like perennial grows on the plains of India. Practitioners of Ayurveda (India's holistic medical system) use it to treat the nervous system, much like the herbs kava-kava and valerian are prescribed by herbalists in the West. Herbalists believe that Shankhapushpi calms the nerves by regulating the body’s production of the stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol. This natural chemical composition in shankhapushpi is said to help the brain calm down and relieve tension, which is why shankhapushpi is also used traditionally for those who suffer from insomnia. Shankhapushpi is also used to treat nervous debility (loss of strength), fatigue, low energy level, and memory loss. Click here for more info...

BLOWOUT SALE! - 50% OFF UNTIL PRESENT STOCK IS GONE! There is a lot of hype in relation to Kratom leaves, but the "Red Vein" Korth strain of Kratom leaves is the one strain most have heard of. We have a private grower for this organic Kratom leaf, who hand picks the leaves, flat dries them, and sends them to us in VERY limited quantities. This leaf definitely offers a subtly different "scentual" experience than any of the other varieties we offer, and since Mother Nature has decided that this present batch wouldn't be as packed with active alkaloids as our other harvests of Red Vein Kratom Leaf, we've decided to put it on sale until our present stock is gone.
If you're unsure which Kratom dried leaf to purchase, there is an immense amount of information strewn across the internet regarding Kratom. This, to us, is an indication of its popularity; there are many unscrupulous vendors who simply want to "cash-in" on the latest fad, but here at Shaman's Garden, we take every one of our Kratom products extremely seriously, and will let you know when one of our harvest was disappointing like this one was. But, if we don't work with the plant ourselves, we don't offer it on the website. And, as always, you're completely covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, even with this somewhat disappointing Red Leaf Korth Kratom.
This this product is not FDA-approved, so we offer it for external use only as an exotic incense. Not for human consumption. Click here for more info...

This is Premium Kratom CRUSHED LEAF, not KRATOM POWDER. There is much controversy with this plant due to a crop of fake Kratom from France that was distributed worldwide in the past. Our Kratom has been verified as authentic by our own in house testing labs as well as 2 independent sources, including Daniel Siebert. Be wary of a new crop of inferior Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) that sometimes appears for next to nothing at other venders; it's much lower quality than the verified mitragynine alkaloid content of what we offer in our Premium Dried Kratom Leaf. Kratom is legal everywhere except Thailand, and is known to ease the mind and energize the body in smaller amounts, while creating a vivid meditative repose that lasts 4-6 hours in larger amounts. Typically, 14 grams of Mitragyna speciosa was extracted into water, and drank in one gulp as a tea, or made into a resinous ball, then swallowed. This this product is not FDA-approved, so we offer it for external use only as an exotic incense. Not for human consumption. Click the image for full story on this amazing plant... This is simply the POWDERED version of our Premium Dried Leaf Kratom from Bali. It's the same in every way as the Dried Leaf, but we powder it for you. Although we always advocate using whole leaf in relation to any herbal product because it ensures that there's been no adulteration of the natural herbal product, we offer this as a trusted vendor to our customers with our usual 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If, for any reason, you don't care for our Powdered Kratom Leaf as much as our cut-and-sifted variety above, simply contact us for a replacement with the cut-and-sifted Kratom leaf instead. We truly are here to please, especially in relation to the Kratom products we so proudly offer.

Our growers carefully harvest this particular strain of Leonurus sibiricus at its peak potency, which not only makes for a smoother burning leaf, but gives this carefully dried herb its unique appearance as well. The inhabitants of the rugged and remote mountainous region in the Mexican state of Chiapas fondly refer to this herb as Marahuanilla or "Little Marijuana" and they've revered the intensity of the smoke as a powerful relaxing agent for perhaps thousands of years.
It's also known as Siberean Motherwort and as Chinese Motherwort as well. It's been used for ages in in Chinese medicine as a kind of adaptogen for various ailments. We find similarities between this herbal product and Wild Dagga, but the experiences both offer and unique from each other, and we've heard of those who enjoy mixing the two herbs together (Leonurus sibiricus and Wild Dagga) for an interesting synergistic experience. By popular request by our customers, we've worked hard to find the least "stemmy" Marihuanilla we could find, and we even offer it as a flat-dried leaf elsewhere in our shop. Leonurus sibiricus also provides a smooth smoke for blending with other herbs. Click here for more info...

We're proud to offer the revered Maeng Da Kratom Leaf. It's a unique strain of Kratom Leaf that has been gaining popularity around the world due to it's unique properties and energizing energy. It's in extremely short supply, and increasingly high in demand, so although it's priced higher than we'd like, the extra cost, as seen by the reviews below, is worth it. We feel that this is a connoiseur's Kratom Leaf, very similar to our Private Reserve stock of various products. Maeng Da has more energizing characteristics to it, much like the New Guinea strain of Kratom that is still only available only as an extract, and it only comes as a tea cut natural herbal incense.
We offer this extracted plant material strictly for external use only as an exotic incense. Not for human consumption.

Verbascum thapsus (Great Mullein) is native to Europe, northern Africa and Asia, and introduced in the Americas and Australia. Dioscorides, the pioneering Greek physician, botanist, and pharmacologist, first recommended the plant 2000 years ago against pulmonary diseases, and this has remained one of its primary uses, especially against cough.
Today it is widely used for herbal remedies as it has emollient (hydrating) and astringent (anti-inflammatory) properties. Mullein has been used since ancient times as a remedy for skin, throat and breathing ailments. Click here for more info...

This is hand-picked Siberian Motherwort, also known as Marihuanilla. We've removed all the stems, and ensured that only the most potent part of the plant is left for spiritual explorers working with this sacred herb. This herb contains the alkaloid Leonurine, the same active alkaloid in Wild Dagga. This herb is actually smoked in various parts of Mexico as a substitute for Cannabis, but this natural herbal product in no way mimics or is intended to be compared to any illegal herb in any way. The now infamous "Spice Gold" used this as a key ingredient, and Siberian Motherwort is often used in herbal smoking blends as a main ingredient. Our Siberian Motherwort is high-altitude Marihuanilla. Why is this relevant? Higher altitudes promote the production of alkaloids in a plant, so typically plants that are grown in higher altitudes have a much greater concentration of alkaloids than plants grown at a lower altitude, even if it's the same seedstock. Native in Highlands from Mexico to Northern Argentina, Sinicuichi is an ancient divination plant, but one of the least known in the Western world. The natives believe that sinicuichi has sacred or supernatural qualities; they say it helps them recall past events back to pre-natal ones as if they had happened yesterday. Fresh leaves would be soaked in water and left to ferment in the sun for 2 days. The volume of water would be reduced, and the resulting bitter liquid was drunk in one gulp. Dried leaves aren't nearly as effective, but the only source for fresh leaves are the ones you grow yourself. Click here for more info...

Tagetes lucida is a beautiful, bright green perennial herb from the Sierra Mandre Mountains of Mexico. It is used by the local Indians recreationally as well as in the kitchen. It has a very mild anise flavor and a sweet taste. In Mexico, it is used as a tea to calm stomachs, relax nerves and to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover.
In ceremonies, the Huichol Indians from the Sierra Madre Mountains reportedly have visions when smoking the herb in combination with the consumption of fermented Tarragon tea, which is prepared the same way Sinicuichi is prepared. Tagetes lucida has been used since pre-Hispanic times and when smoked, is said to produce everything from euphoria to "closed-eye-images" similar to other herbs that were used used for divination. Although the word "narcotic" has taken on a very negative connotation in recent years, Tagetes, in the classical sense of the term, is reputed to be narcotic in many countries. Narcotic, in the past, simply meant "psychoactive" in terms of its effects, and applied to a large number or natural herbs.

This dried Wild Dagga is wildcrafted and harvested sustainably. This is another product that we buy directly from the growers, who still use this plant for themselves to this day. This unusually potent Leonotis leonurus (Lion's Tail) leaf is often preferred by our customers, and gets the most repeat customers, partially because we offer it at such a reduced price. We want to encourage as much sustainable harvesting of this particular Wild Dagga as we can, so offering it near-wholesale allows us to buy more from the growers.
Many traditional uses have been recorded. This foliage is commonly made into a medicinal tea, which is favored for the hypnotic focus it gives. It's also considered a "potentiator", which, when mixed with other herbs of your choice, will intensify the effects of those herbs. This works if you make the Dagga into an herbal smoke or make it into a tea. Typically, what this means is that you can use far less of any expensive herbs you're using, and more of this, but end up with the same result. Click here for more info...

We started our own farm of Wild Dagga in India because we wanted others to know how amazing of a plant Wild Dagga can be. With our first Wild Dagga harvest, we now know how and why Wild Dagga got its name. No one has this "Private Reserve" product except for us becuase we grow it ourselves, and we are proud to offer it to you now. Comes with a set of instructions on how best to work with this amazing plant. This sacred plant has a very long history of use, and until we grew it ourselves on our own farm, we didn't realize and understand the full power and potential of this herb. We license this product exclusively to SweetSmoke Herbs for use in their smoking blends. Always favored for the hypnotic focus it gives, we truly believe that you too will see what has made this plant such a favorite among South African tribesman for so many years.
