#1 QUESTION: What's UP With Credit Card Processing?

#2 QUESTION: How secure is your shop and website?

Unlike most exotic botanical venders on the internet, we are a fully licensed and registered company within the United States, and follow the letter of the law so precisely, that you couldn't be safer with every shred of information you provide us with. Also, our site is not only scanned against hackers 24x7 by an independent company, we do not keep ANY sensitive information anywhere near our servers. We utilize the latest 128-bit SSL security for all transactions, and have trained technicians manually process each and every transaction, constantly checking for fraud. In literally several hundred thousand transactions, we haven't had a single customer's information compromised.

#3 QUESTION: You're in Chicago, can't I just pick up my order?

This is perhaps the MOST COMMON question here. The answer is no, no, and no. We do not have a retail storefront. Though we treasure our customers and would love to meet every one of them, please don't offer explanations about how you're "just around the corner," how you "absolutely have to have something from our shop by today," or how how you can easily just "swing by and pick up a simple order"; because the answer is still no. Simply; we are not set up for retail sales.

#4 QUESTION: Where's my order?

You have as much information about where your order is as we have. You can log into your account to see the EXACT status of your order, which is exactly what we would do to find out as well. If you chose Priority Mail or have an Express Mail order shipping to a PO Box, you can call (800) ASK-USPS, and give them your Tracking Information. If you chose FedEx, you can call (800) GO-FEDEX and give them your Tracking Information. We are always here to help, but we encourage you to empower yourself and do some checking on your own first.

What is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM I need to know?

WE NO LONGER SHIP TO LOUISIANA - THEY HAVE PASSED A SWEEPING LAW. WE DO NOT SHIP KRATOM TO INDIANA OR TENNESSEE.

We do not ship to ESTONIA, LEBANON, MEXICO, ISRAEL, NIGERIA, RUSSIA, or UKRAINE.
We do not generally ship to AUSTRALIA; they seem to have almost everything we offer banned.

It's up to each customer to know your own International Laws; we are not responsible for accidentally sending any products to you that may be confiscated.

Credit cards will reflect a charge to a 100% secure credit card processor for this order and NOT ShamansGarden. Some banks charge their cardholders an additional fee for offshore transactions. Some customers will be charged an extra fee by their bank for ‘International Transaction Charges’. ORDER QUESTIONS

How quickly do you process orders?

Even though we are swamped with orders, we process orders within 1 business day. Once your order is charged and shipped, FedEx Overnight will get your package to you next business day, and within 2 business days if it's placed after 3:00PM CST or placed on a Sunday/Holiday. On rare occasions, depending on your town, Express is sometimes a 2-Day Delivery. **If we ship on the day we state we will ship, you are not entitled to a refund if your town was included in one of these 2-Day shipping exceptions.** USPS Express to a P.O. Box will take 1-2 business days. Priority Mail gets you your order 1-4 days after your order ships, depending on your location, and heavier order may be upgraded to FedEx Ground unless you specifically request Priority and agree to additional shipping charges.
International First Class and International Priority is less exact, but typically gets to you within 7-10 days, though it has taken as long as 30 days to some places when the package is uninsured or unregistered. We also can't guarantee unregistered/uninsured international packages.
PLEASE NOTE that, due to the amount of attempted fraud, and as an additional protection to our valued customers, we must verify all orders that are not shipping to the cardholder's billing address. ALSO, please be aware that ALL Express Orders MUST ship to the cardholder's address, no exceptions.

Do you give refunds or replacements?

1. We can give full refunds on any product in its complete and original packaging if you are not pleased, up to our discretion. We cannot refund shipping costs because we cannot recover shipping charges, and our profit margin is already very small due to offering all our products near-wholesale.

2. If an item is damaged or missing, we will send out the missing item or replace the damaged item. If you chose Overnight Express, because our profit margins are so small, we will replace your item via Priority Mail or Regular Mail, depending on the item.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Why won't you offer any advice on your products?

For items that are marked as not for human consumption, in the interest of your protection and ours, please do not ask us any questions regarding ingesting these particular products. No matter the labeling, we do not sell any products for ingestion through smoking; any consumable product is for tea only. There are plenty of places to research the historical background of everything we carry here, and ask that you thoroughly do your research before ordering anything from us. Anything that is clearly labeled "For Human Consumption" will gladly be discussed, and we will answer whatever questions you may have.
Again, we will NOT answer ANY questions regarding consuming any product that is labeled "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION."

How come the "Back in Stock" dates sometimes change?

We do not have any control over the Federal Government or its agencies such as the Customs Department, and since most of the products we carry are imported from farms throughout the world, we are at the whim of Customs and can only guesstimate when we will actually have some of our our products in stock. Sometimes products pass right through Customs, sometimes they decide to send something off to the lab, and sometimes things just get held up or lost.
Also, because we work with many small farms and indigenous groups, things don't run like clockwork as many people in the United States are accustomed to. Many of the people we get our products from rely on the sun rising and setting to determine their days, and it can be difficult to nail down a specific schedule with them. But we do our best and keep you as informed as possible. SO: If you see an arrival date now or in the future and do not think that you could deal with any kind of delay, then simply do not order until you see that the product is actually back in stock. Then it saves you from getting angry at us for not having your product or changing the estimated arrival date, it saves us having to write an e-mail back pointing you to this FAQ, and we're all happier as a result.

"STANDARDIZED" vs. "NON-STANDARDIZED" - What's the difference?

Standardized incense begins with washed, de-stemmed Prime Harvest leaf and pure salvinorin. 100 grams of leaf is measured out, a corresponding exact amount of salvinorin is measured and then infused onto the leaf. This way, you can be assured of consistency in the strength of the incense, whether you order it today or next year, and you can always be assured that is is the cleanest burning incense available. This process takes much more time to complete, and requires much more care as well, but the end result is well worth the extra time, effort, and expense. There is more crushed leaf per gram than NON-standardized because there are far fewer stems.
NON-Standardized simply takes 100 grams of leaf, extracts the salvinorin with the tannins/black waxes with it, and then infuses it onto 10 grams of leaf. There is no way to know the exact strength of the incense, there are the added waxes/tannins that other incense doesn't have, and it's infused onto Oaxacan leaf instead of Prime Harvest.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Do you accept credit cards? - If so, what kind?

PLEASE NOTE: TEMPORARILY WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT VISA CARDS. Yes, credit cards are completely integrated into the website.  We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER cards.  This includes pre-paid credit cards. Make sure you enter the proper BILLING ADDRESS when ordering so your order is not delayed. We also accept any debit card that has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, including check cards.  We DO NOT accept checks at all, no exceptions, sorry.

For Money Orders, we only accept U.S. dollars.  If International Money Orders, including Canada, are not in U.S. dollars, we will return your payment and request a new payment in U.S. currency.

For cash, we accept U.S. dollars only.  If we receive an order that has currency other than U.S. dollars, we will unfortunately have to return your order to you and request any of the forms of payment we do accept.

We do not accept PayPal at this time.  Full explanation is in our Answer Center under the Payment Methods article.

What payment options do you offer besides credit cards?

PAYPAL: Yes, PayPal was completely integrated into the website. The option used to appear as you chose your method of payment, but there has been some concern over privacy issues with PayPal. See our PayPal FAQ in the Answer Center for more details.
MONEY ORDERS: Yes, you can simply write your order out, or you can print out your shopping cart for even easier Money Order payment. More info is HERE.
CHECKS: We have stopped accepting checks due to the high rate of fraud. 6 out of every 10 checks were returned due to insufficient funds, or because third parties were writing out checks that did not belong to them, and consequently, stop payments were made on the checks. More info is HERE.
CASH: Yes, you can simply write your order out, or you can print out your shopping cart. Choose Money Order as your payment option, and then send cash in US Dollars. More info is HERE.

What do I need to know about Credit Card transactions?

If Buyer provides a billing address that does not match the billing address on the bank records, orders will NOT be honored until the billing address is verified by IAmShaman. Also, orders CANNOT be placed by third parties; if the name on the Credit card does NOT match the name of the person placing the order, the order will most-likely be voided. If IAmShaman decides to honor the transaction, it will be at their sole discretion of IAmShaman, and additional information will then be required before the transaction can be processed, such as proof of age and address of all parties involved in the transaction. Some banks charge their cardholders an additional fee for offshore transactions. Some customers will be charged an extra fee by their bank for ‘International Transaction Charges’. This is the cardholder’s bank charging them for processing with a bank outside of the US and is outside of our control. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us FIRST.
