"Private Reserve" Ethnobotanicals/EntheogensThe products listed in this section are from our own farming fields in India, Hawaii, and Peru. These are organically-grown, obsessed-over plants that we cultivate and harvest ourselves, and proudly present the fruits of our efforts in this special section of our shop. It's taken us a few years to get our first crops, but the wait was far more than worth it, and next to our Peruvian Cooperative, this is one of our proudest offerings. The plants listed below are crafted from sheer passion for this planet and the preservation of rare and exotic botanicals, and it's one of the most rewarding experiences I've been a part of. The list is growing, but for now, we have only our absolute favorite herbals, since space and capability is still quite humble. I hope you find as much joy working with these botanicals as we have had growing them...so enjoy! We use only organic fertilizers from start to finish, while sustainably harvesting and practicing very strict "crop rotation" as well, to give the soil a chance to recover and sustain it's nourishment to all the plants it hosts. So far, we carry an exclusive line of Blue Lily Absolute Oil (India), Whole Calamus Root (Hawaii), Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds (Hawaii), Kanna Whole White Leaf (India), Kratom Leaf (India), Reishi Mushrooms (Private Farm in USA), Wild Dagga (India), and Wormwood. These alone have been quite an undertaking, but we couldn't be more pleased with the results! This is authentic Himalyan Kaempferia galanga (Galangal) is the one used by the mystics and NOT the culinary one. It was a favorite of Aleister Crowley, the English occultist. Reportedly, alone it's a powerful aphrodisiac. What's of interest to us, though, is that it reportedly becomes an extremely useful tool to create psychic awareness when blended with Wild Alpine Turmeric (not to be confused with the common spice turmeric). Combining these two mystical roots enables the perfect yin-yang / body-mind balance according to ancient scriptures, and may be the reason that Aleister Crowley found it so useful.
Being exposed to the vapors and smoke of this combination (or Kaempferia galanga by itself) when burned as an incense is thought to increase energy and overcome exhaustion, melancholy, and sadness. Many Tibetan incense formulas still use Galanga (Galangal), especially in formulas to promote awareness, overcome physical exhaustion and create a mood for contemplation. Our Kaempferia galanga is grown high in the Himalayan mountains to promote high alkaloid content, hence the name we've given it of Alpine Kaempferia galanga.

This absolute oil is an exclusive our shop, grown on our own farms in India. It has earned the name "Private Reserve"; a series of products that have to pass stringent guidelines to qualify for this rating. It contains many of the same alkaloids that Blue Lotus Absolute does, but each plant has its own unique characteristics. This is an amazing addition to your favorite herbal smoke, for added potency and effects that need to be experienced to be believed. It's also extremely popular as an added ingredient in massage oils. Take any massage oil (we actually prefer a scentless carrier oil as a base), and add 10-20 drops to every 8 ounces of oil, and this makes a sensual and scentual experience for both the masseuse and the receiver of the massage.

This organically grown Calamus root is another plant grown on our "Private Reserve" farming fields in Hawaii. We offer it in a form no one else does; as the whole root! - This ensures maximum potency, since there are volatile oils that can evaporate with improperly stored herbal products. This whole root was a favorite of Native American tribes and had many uses, including fighting pain and fatigue. The Cree say that they can take Acorus americanus Calamus root and "travel great distances without touching the ground."
Native American Indians would simply eat roots in 1-inch sections as a medicinal, in 2-inch sections as an anti-fatigue, and in 6-inch sections as a visionary tool. Calamus has a certain sweetness as well as a sour quality and a heat like ginger or cinnamon. Again, these are WHOLE pieces of organic Acrous Americanus Calamus root that average about 4 inches long, not powder.

These organic, untreated Hawaiian Baby Woodrose (HBWR) seeds are imported directly from Mauii and inspected for freshness and quality upon arrival. These are our prized seeds and they're getting more and more difficult to find each year. Please don't be fooled by inferior seeds sold for less; these seeds have an average germination rate of about 95%, unlike any other Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds we've purchased elsewhere. Sold by weight, not by quantity. Our Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds also have been verified by an independent lab for authenticity and quality, and these are always sold first come, first serve.
Seeds of the Argyreia nervosa may have once been used in sacramental rituals in the Pacific Islands by high priests, but research is quite spotty. But, it's the beautiful plant that comes from these seeds that's the truly magnificent thing about Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds, and especially this prized Hawaiian strain hand-picked from farmland specifically set aside in Hawaii to grow these seeds. Properly cultivated this plant would make an absolutely lush, beautiful, and colorful addition to any garden.

We started our own organic farm to grow the best Kanna in the world. We offer it not as a powder, but as natural, fermented and dried leaf. This amazing Kanna is not bitter like the powdered Kanna available everywhere else; it actually has a pleasant sweetness to it, and it can bring relaxation similar to Kava Kava without the fuss or messy extractions. This may seem like the wrong category for this product, but much to our joy and surprise, this Kanna makes a very pleasurable smoke, especially when added as a potentiator for other smoking herbs.

This is hand-picked Siberian Motherwort, also known as Marihuanilla. We've removed all the stems, and ensured that only the most potent part of the plant is left for spiritual explorers working with this sacred herb. This herb contains the alkaloid Leonurine, the same active alkaloid in Wild Dagga. This herb is actually smoked in various parts of Mexico as a substitute for Cannabis, but this natural herbal product in no way mimics or is intended to be compared to any illegal herb in any way. The now infamous "Spice Gold" used this as a key ingredient, and Siberian Motherwort is often used in herbal smoking blends as a main ingredient. Our Siberian Motherwort is high-altitude Marihuanilla. Why is this relevant? Higher altitudes promote the production of alkaloids in a plant, so typically plants that are grown in higher altitudes have a much greater concentration of alkaloids than plants grown at a lower altitude, even if it's the same seedstock.

This Private Reserve Kratom Powder is Thai leaf through and through, but grown on our private reserve farms in India. Tested to be twice as active than our premium leaf, this is a Kratom connoiseur's dream and a step down from the the Maeng Da strain. Here, we regularly work with just seven grams at a time, making this Private Reserve Thai Kratom Powder last longer than expected. This plant comes from our 100 acre private reserve in India, where we grow some of our favorite plants organically, and with great care. We start with high quality seed stock, and work from there. These Kratom trees took 4 years of hard work, but this leaf was worth the wait. Often available only in only small quantities, the prices will fluctuate, and stock will come and go as harvest permits. We are sustainably harvesting these trees, so we never get to harvest as much as we would like to!

Just when we thought we experienced the best that Sacred Lily had to offer, we’ve got a new absolute oil that has surpassed our expectations. This rare plant known as Nymphaea rubra (Red Lily) is gentler in aroma, and somewhat more intense in the tangibly pleasurable effects that the Lily family has become famous for. We still highly recommend any of our absolute oils, but this one is a personal favorite of mine.
I prefer to be wooed into the experience, with a gentle descent into all that Sacred Lily has to offer, and our Red Lily fits the bill perfectly. The aroma is less intense than any other of our Sacred Lily products, but the effects and aromatherapy value is far from gentle.
As with our prized Blue Lily Absolute Oil, this product requires 100KG of flowers to make a single KG. Comes in 1ml/1G bottles. Can be blended with a number of psychoactive herbs or smoking blends, or, our favorite way of working with this sacred plant: Simply hold the bottle under your nose for about 15 minutes when you want to have an engaging but relaxing experience, whether it's in quet meditation or while engaging in any of your favorite creative endeavors.

This Wild Dagga Flat Leaf is our premium Dagga product, picked by hand from our "Private Reserve", without the use of pesticides of any kind. Don't be fooled by other strains of Wild Dagga leaf that are not only typically less potent; some that we've found other seling as "Wild Dagga" has no Leonurine (the active alkaloid mainly responsible for the pleasant effects) in their product whatsoever.

This is another one of our exclusive self-crafted products that we're proud to call Private Reserve. We've got a number of organic farms throughout the world, and our Wild Lettuce crop (Lactuca virosa) is another winner. With a special extraction method that captures the maximum amount of Lactucopicrin and Lactucin; the alkaloids responsible for the effects of Wild Lettuce Opium.
Oddly enough, this hypnotic has been around for centuries and has always been referred to as "Lettuce Opium" although it has no relation to the highly illegal opium made from poppies. The Artemisia absintium plant grows wild all over Europe and the US. The bitter component of Wormwood is an alkaloid, absinthin, which is separate from the essential oil, thujone. Absinthin is removed by soaking the plant in water or alcohol, but essential oils like thujone require distillation, fermentation, or fat to effectively remove them from the plant. Since distillation is illegal in most parts of the world, most choose to manually "distill" the dried Wormwood leaves by soaking them in alcohol for 1-2 weeks.
This Wormwood Tea Cut (Alpine Sweet) is a specially-grown species reknown for it's less-bitter taste that Wormwood is infamous for. We are proud to offer this particular strain, which we we use for all of our Absinthe Kits and Absinthe Recipes. Thujone, by the way, is structurally similar to the THC molecule but does not bind to the same receptor in the brain as THC does.
