Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds (Ghana)
|
Although these exact seeds are still widely available in seed catalogs
and gardening shops worldwide, with recent disturbing developments, we
have decided to make the difficult decision to suspend offering these
seeds for now. We have a long history of erring on the side of
caution, so to protect ourselves and our treasured customers, these
seeds are out of stock until further notice. These untreated seeds are imported directly from Ghana. Not nearly as high quality as our organic Hawaiian seeds, but we still guarantee about a 20% germination rate. Yes, these are A. nervosa seeds, but are a different strain and don't have the fuzzy coating associated with seeds from Hawaii. Seeds of the Argyreia nervosa (Not this particular strain of HBWR; these Ghana seeds are from Africa!) may have once been used in sacramental rituals in the Pacific Islands, where they were used by high priests. But the beautiful plant that comes from these seeds is the truly magnificent thing about Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds. Properly cultivated this plant would still make an interesting addition to any garden, though, and because these seeds are so inexpensive, you can spread a large amount over a wide area. Strictly NOT for human consumption and sold for cultivation only. |
