Today, the "Crimson Rambler" (Ipomoea purpurea) variety of Morning Glory seeds produce stunningly beautiful red to violet flowers with white necks, which typically bloom during the first year as they amaze you at the speed in which they can climb. These untreated Flying Saucer variety of Morning Glory seeds provide fast growing vines to 15 ft. with huge 5" blooms of pure white brushed with lavender-lilac to blue in a pinwheel pattern. Lush, tropical-like foliage provide a nice variety to the usual "Heavenly Blues" that most morning glory fans are familiar with. The Pearly Gates variety of Morning Glories produce a vigorous growing vine (to 12 feet) with beautiful all-white flowers. These untreated seeds produce flowers quite similar to the Heavenly Blues, but the vivid white flowers are a nice break from the usual type of morning glories that avid gardeners are used to.  Speaking, generations of Aztecs and natives in Mexico (Oaxaca region) reportedly believe that a deity lives within the seeds and they may have held Morning Glory plants quite sacred as a result.

Today, the "Pearly Gates" variety are a widely sought Morning Glory, and as is the case with all our seeds here at the shop, our seeds are never sprayed with harmful chemicals or poisons.  Not only does treating seeds have the potential to weaken the entire strain, they can also lower the germination rate as well.  To maximize germination rates of our morning glory seeds, we only offer untreated seeds that are organically grown and harvested.

These rare seeds are related to Morning Glories, and come from Oaxaca, Mexico where they are cherished for both their history and the shamanic use.
