|
These 3:1 Wormwood Capsules offer an easy way to take Wormwood without having to deal with messy extractions, bitter taste, or by making it into a tea. Wormwood is sometimes recommended for the treatment of digestive conditions such as intestinal parasites, dyspepsia, acid reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome, and has been a favorite of artists an musicians for centuries due to the psychoactive effects associated with this plant.
A common cleansing formula uses wormwood capsules and cloves. The wormwood kills parasites in the adult and developmental stages, while the cloves kill the eggs. Thus by using the two herbs in combination, the theory is that the parasites are destroyed at all stages of its life cycle.
A parasite cleanse is required if your body is overburdened with other toxins. If your body is healthy, then your immune system can deal with the parasites, but if you are under a great deal of stress or have other contributing factors that can give you poor circulation, your immune system may not be able to deal with external invaders such as parasites. They will naturally migrate to those areas of the body where your body is not functioning optimally, and can be present in your blood, joints, organs, or wherever else the bodily system is weakened. It's important to note that parasites don't typically cause disease, but they can certainly contribute to an unhealthy and unbalanced system.
A 10 week study conducted in Germany evaluated the potential benefits of wormwood for treatment of people with Crohn’s disease, an inflammatory condition of the intestines. Of the 40 people enrolled in the study, all of them had the diease under control though the use of pharmaceutical medications such as steroids.
Half were given Wormwood Capsules (500 mg three time daily) while the other half were placebos. At the start of week two of the study, researchers began a gradual tapering down of the steroid dosage used by participants. Over subsequent weeks, those given the placebo showed the expected worsening of symptoms that the reduction of drug dosage would be expected to cause. In contrast, those receiving wormwood showed a gradual improvement of symptoms. No serious side effects were attributed to wormwood in this study.
Now that's a promising result with a real disease!
