This Argemone Mexicana (Prickly Poppy) resin is well-known for its sedative and calming qualities around the world. This resin is a 10x extract, and is made with our all-organic Prickly Poppy herb found elsewhere in the shop. This resin is a full spectrum resin made from the entire plant and flowers, but does not contain the latex from the capsules, or the seeds that the plant produces either. Latex is difficult to acquire and available here in limited quantities, but this resin is well worth investigating.

Extracted from fresh, not dried leaf for maximum potency. It mixes well with Tagetes lucida, which helps to enhance the effects of the Prickly Poppy Resin.

This prickly poppy resin has a pleasant taste and is, without a doubt, mildly relaxing and calming. I combined this resin with Mexican tarragon and tried smoking it. The flavor of this combo is wonderful, and definitely relaxing, but the effect is fairly subtle, so if you are looking for something that will really blow you over, this prickly poppy resin might not be for you.
