Calea Zacatechichi (Dream Herb/Leaf of God) is a plant used by the Chontal Indians of Mexico to obtain divinatory messages through dreaming.

Traditionally the plant was drank as a tea while a small cigarette was smoked before bed, bringing relaxation and fluidity to mind and body, ushering in an easy and deep sleep during which the dreamer will find the gates to the dreamscape gently opened. The effects on me were not what they say it does. I used this for 2 nights in a row, smoking 5-7 inhalations out of a pipe, and had no dreams that I could remember whatsoever. It does however, help to relax your eyes and body.

Wow...this plant is phenomenally sacred and an amazing teacher! Using it makes me feel pleasantly relaxed and allows me to fall into a very restful sleep. The first time I used it I had an extremely vivid lucid dreaming experience that was much more powerful than any I've ever had before. I was so deep in my dreams that I slept through two alarms, something which is rare as I am usually a very light sleeper (so be careful if you have to be up early in the morning after using this herb). Since then, I have had several lucid dreaming experiences without using the plant medicine - as if this plant teacher taught me something permanent about the dream world. This extract is very easy to add to your favorite smoking blend!
