These Betel Nut Seeds are sliced from our supplier's fresh, whole Betel Nuts. The Areca Catechu seed is one tough nut, so we offer them sliced as an alternative to processing your own seeds. The oils are somewhat diminished in the sliced seeds, but they are still quite useful for a variety of things. The betel nut, which is actually a fruit from the betel palm, can be found in Asia and Africa. The betel nut palm is now cultivated across the Asian tropics as a cash crop, as well as in almost every village garden.
