This is simply the whole root version of Ashwaghanda. Whole roots preserve more of the volatile oils, but require more time to steep. With the whole root, you can put several roots into boiling water, bring to a simmer, and steep for several hours. You can also put 1 oz at a time into a pot of water and let it steep all day. Either preparation can be reheated for use throughout the day. This tea tastes great with a honey and a pinch of warming cinnamon!
