Native in Highlands from Mexico to Northern Argentina, Sinicuichi is an ancient divination plant, but one of the least known in the Western world. The natives believe that sinicuichi has sacred or supernatural qualities; they say it helps them recall past events back to pre-natal ones as if they had happened yesterday. WE have many verified accounts as well as personal stories into the validity of these claims, at least in relation to the Sinicuichi plants that one grows oneself.  Although there is still little research into what the active components are, it is widely beleived that these alkaloids are strongest when the fresh leaves are made into a tea, rather than dried first and then made into a tea.

Fresh Hemia leaves would be soaked in water and left to ferment in the sun for 2 days, making an intelligent, teaching, sun tea. The volume of water would be reduced, and each cup of the the resulting bitter liquid was drunk in one gulp..  This is one of my personal favorites at the shop, and have worked with this plant ally for many years, learning much about it over that time.  In relation to growing this ancient plant, I outline much of what I've learned in the Sinicuichi seeds product description.
