Yohimbe is a tree that grows throughout the African nations of Cameroon, Gabon and Zaire. Reportedly, this is the most powerful aphrodisiac known. The herb is a sensual stimulant for healthy men and women, and today, doctors prescribe an extract from the tree to treat impotence. In fact, a prescription drug, yohimbine hydrochloride, is the only FDA approved drug for impotence. WARNING:Yohimbe is also a short term MAO inhibitor and should be used with caution, especially if you have high blood pressure.
