This Private Reserve Kratom Leaf is Thai leaf through and through, but grown on our private reserve farms in India. Tested to be twice as active than our premium leaf, this is a Kratom connoiseur's dream and a step down from the the Maeng Da strain. Here, we regularly work with just seven grams at a time, making this Private Reserve Thai Kratom leaf last longer than expected.

This plant comes from our 100 acre private reserve in India, where we grow some of our favorite plants organically, and with great care. We start with high quality seed stock, and work from there. These Kratom trees took 4 years of hard work, but this leaf was worth the wait. Often available only in only small quantities, the prices will fluctuate, and stock will come and go as harvest permits. We are sustainably harvesting these trees, so we never get to harvest as much as we would like to!

It's a shame that I have to give such a low rating because I really appreciate that this website even gives us the opportunity to rate and give comments, which is something I haven't found on other sites. The reason is because I really did not feel anything substantial. I used 3/4 of the ounce I received and boiled it three times, and split it between three people, which follows the directions that I received from a legitimate source. My friend and i, both ~180 pounds, did not feel much besides a mild cannabis-like buzz. On the other hand, my 120 pound girlfriend did in fact feel the effects on a level that she compared to taking opiates. She ended up vomiting but felt very good afterwards. With the private reserve leaf, I also ordered the 20x private reserve [I think] extract, which I took an hour ago, but have yet to feel the effects. Don't be discouraged by our experiences, everybody is different.

In the past, I only purchased the "premium dried leaf", as I was skeptical that this product would be twice as active (and thus worth the extra cost). Finally I took the plunge and opted for this kratom; I was very pleased! Working with 7g provided great results, especially considering that 14g of the lower-quality leaf was needed to obtain a LESS impressive outcome. The associated drawbacks were reduced substantially as well, making this an all-around wonderful product.

The first time I bought this Kratom it exceeded my expectations. However, upon introduction of the Maeng Da offerings, the quality of the Private Reserve product decreased substantially, as well as the price. So all in all, the product is still good for the money, but I just wish the description of it would be more accurate. I kind of expected the decreased quality since the price dropped dramatically, but had I known I was getting more stems and brown leaves than the last time I ordered the product, I would have ordered only an ounce and gone with an extract, or perhaps maybe more Maeng Da. So in summary, from a business perspective I got what I paid for. From a marketing perspective, this product could be described better. This is not a "Kratom connoiseur's dream", but to be fair is "a step down from the the Maeng Da". I just wish I knew this meant I would be picking out some stems from the 4oz. I ordered. In fact, I'll even offer to submit a proposed new description as I have some technical writing skills. :)

I did a lot of homework about this plant before my purchase, and its results beat my expectations. This is the first Kratom I've tried and it'll be the only one, provided it stays this good (and available). While the indigenous growers of this plant have never heard of smoking it, this Kratom is good enough to smoke. Produces a mild Cannabis-like buzz, and though mild, the buzz is of a high quality. Gets the job done. I know now that Mother Nature has more than one plant worthy of our attention. This is another.

Absolutely the best Kratom I have had to date. It is energizing and euphoric but without the side effects - headache or upset stomach - I have encountered with other dried leaf products. I am not much into the tea thing though; so I grind it up in my coffee grinder and enjoy the aroma in full with a little grape juice. It has the aroma of fresh greens, not bitter. 4 grams was plenty. Great product! I will be ordering again.

This is in my opinion the highest quality Kratom product offered anywhere. I have also ordered the 15x extract and the premium leaf, both have a more powder-like texture than the private reserve which is little bits of leaf. The best part about this product is that it takes about half the material you would use if you were using Kratom of regular potency. Aromatherapy tea is probably the best way to enjoy this product. Add 5-10 grams and slow boil in up to 2 cups of water for 15-30 minutes (make sure the leaf doesn't burn on the side of the pot, this will make it more bitter). Strain and enjoy the aromatherapy tea. Effects will depend on body chemistry (contents of stomach, natural tolerance, even mood at time if consumption). This product is great for any type of pain or lethargy at normal/lower doses. Large doses not recomended (May cause nausea and/or dizziness). Overall a high quality product.

The quality is reasonably good although this is a bit pricy compared to kratom of similar quality that I've found elsewhere. The 2 different kratom's that I got from Shaman's garden each seem to offer similar effects although at different strengths. I've found another source which offers a variety of wild grown kratom with different effects as well as different strengths. I would guess that different types of kratom have different alkaloids in different proportions, which accounts for the different effects.

I've tried every kratom from here and this is absolutely the best one by far! My second choice would be the 15x extract, but if you're trying to get the biggest bang for your buck, this is the one to choose. So far I've ordered this Private Reserve Leaf several times and the quality has always been excellent!

Love it!! I have not tried any of the other kratom varieties on this site or elsewhere(except for the 5x extract which I don't really care for), so I have nothing to compare it to. I followed a simple recipe of boiling 7-8 grams (teaspoons, actually...I believe a teaspoon equals a gram) in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes. I added some honey to blunt the bitter taste. This single serving provided very satisfactory results. I am also extremely satisfied with the shop's customer service and quick turnaround time to ship my order.

AMAZING! I've ordered a few other items from this site, but all have been the lowest quality strain offered, so i basically thought nothing would work. so for the first time i wasn't cheap, my 1.5 oz came in afew days ago, even though i only ordered 1 :) i prepared 6 grams to start off and WOW, that's all i can say! thanks for the great service shamans garden, ill be back for more soon enough.

I've tried a large variety of kratom products from every vendor out there, and without a doubt Shaman's Garden carries the best you can get. ESPECIALLY with this variety - the private reserve leaf. The quality of this product is unparalleled, and consistent every time I've ordered. And Shaman's Garden hooks it up too - I ordered 4 ounces and I received 4.5 ounces! This has been my core product that I order from here every time. I have not tried the red vein, the regular leaf or any of the extracts yet so unfortunately I do not have much to compare it to. However I will say that I get the best effect from this at around 6-10 Grams. 3 Grams does not do it for me. Keeping that in mind I still say it is worth the price. I have ordered it 4 times now and every time it has been of genuine quality.

I first tried 3 grams with little effect. The same night I boiled up ten grams of this stuff and man I was feeling good. It was like a strong opiate high..can't wait to try the extract.
