Private Reserve - Motherwort (Marihuanilla)
|
This is hand-picked Siberian Motherwort, also known as Marihuanilla. We've removed all the stems, and ensured that only themost potent part of the plant (leaf and buds) are left for spiritual explorers workingwith this sacred herb. This herb contains the alkaloid Leonurine, thesame active alkaloid in Wild Dagga. This herb is actually smoked invarious parts of Mexico as a substitute for Cannabis, but this naturalherbal product in no way mimics or is intended to be compared to anyillegal herb in any way. It's an amazing calming herb, with sedative qualities, and is often used as a pre-sleep aid to help with lucid dreaming and dream recall. The now infamous "Spice Gold" used this as a key ingredient, and Siberian Motherwort is often used in herbal smoking blends as a main ingredient. Our Siberian Motherwort is high-altitude Marihuanilla. Why is this relevant? Higher altitudes promote the production ofalkaloids in a plant, so typically plants that are grown in higheraltitudes have a much greater concentration of alkaloids than plantsgrown at a lower altitude, even if it's the same seedstock. Siberian Motherwort is the exact herb that is often peddled on "legal high" websites because of it's reported similarity in looks to the buds of Cannabis. This herb is to be enjoyed for its own unique characteristics, and providing stem-free leaf and bud makes this ancient herb (still used in ritual today) even more potent. There is often a lot of confusion with this particular herbal product; some call it Klip Dagga, but Klip Dagga is very much its own plant. Others call it "Chinese Mugwort" as well, but that is also a different strain. Siberian Motherwort is of the Leonurus family and its exact Latin name is "Leonurus cardiaca." Chinese Mugwort, with its long history of use in Chinese Medicine, is also of the Leonurus family, but it is its own distinct herb. |
