Maeng Da has more energizing characteristics to it, much like the New Guinea strain of Kratom that is still only available only as an extract, and it only comes as a tea cut natural herbal incense.

I found it weaker and less pleasant than the premium dried leaf. Actually, I'd rather not burn any incense at all than burn the maeng da dried leaf; its scent is slightly less than pleasant to me. I had high hopes from reading all the positive reviews. I will be going back to the premium dried leaf.

PLEASE PEOPLE do not buy kratom and then be irresponsible with it. Don't put videos on youtube of you doing things with it. This plant CAN be used for good. also if your just looking for something that is legal to get you high then kratom is not what your looking for anyways. Don't mess it up everyone. Kratom really helps a lot of people out in a very good way.

This is the best kratom around. It's what used to be known as "Private Reserve" leaf, which is now sold as this Maeng Da. The new "Private Reserve" is cheaper and of somewhat lower quality than this one. I also wish the site would have been a bit clearer on this.

Best stuff ever. This specific species leaves you feeling amazing for hours afterwards without the "hangover" that even some premium leaves leave you with. I love it and will be buying much more in the future. Totally worth the money!

This is definitely an excellent product! As stated in the description it is slightly pricey in my opinion, and would have given this a 4.5 rating (if possible) for that reason alone. I am still happy with my purchase however. I'm tempted to try the extract out of curiosity but have a feeling I'll prefer the dried leaf.
